PURPOSE OF POSITION

We are looking for a Sr. Test engineer to develop, review, analyze, and validate tests to ensure product quality.

PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Analyzing the Requirements from the client
  • Participating in preparing Test Plans
  • Preparing Test Scenarios
  • Preparing Test Cases for module, integration and system testing
  • Preparing Test Data for the test cases
  • Analyzing the Test Cases prepared by other team members
  • Executing the Test Cases
  • Bug/Defect Logging and Tracking (Preferably JIRA and Azure DevOps)
  • Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
  • Preparing Summary Reports
  • Preparing Lesson Learnt documents from the previous project testing experience
  • Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application
  • Communication with the Test Lead / Test Manager
  • Verify results by running SQL Queries in SQL server
  • Attend regular SCRUM calls with the implementation team

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / BCA/MCA/ M. Tech (CS/IT)

Experience 4-5 years

Location - Gurugram

SKILLS

  • 4 to 5 Years of Experience in Software Testing
  • Minimum 3 years Automation experience in Tricentis Tosca/ Selenium web driver or similar tools
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipeline and Build Deployment.
  • Exposure to Performance Testing (preferably using Jmeter/Neoload)
  • Knowledge of API Testing (SOAP UI, Rest Assured)
  • Knowledge of testing methodology and test documentation procedures
  • Knowledge of C#, .Net, Java
  • Experience in testing web-based and client server applications
  • Must have knowledge of SQL
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Research problems to find solutions by utilizing available resources including co-workers, documentation, tools and share knowledge
