As part of the development of our digital entity, we are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java & React Developer to join our digital engineering team. In this role, you will build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications leveraging modern Java (Spring Boot, J2EE), cloud-native practices, and advanced React front-end frameworks.

Job Description in Brief (Roles & Responsibilities):

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java/Spring Boot (back end) and with Redux (front end).
  • Must have working experience of Java, React, redux, redux-saga, redux toolkit, custom hooks, etc.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and micro services, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle to model and optimize databases.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) for automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Leverage Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with security best practices
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies (e.g., serverless, GraphQL, WebSockets, AI-driven dev tools).
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in development, testing, and production environments.
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions, standards and procedures
  • Provide technical expertise on various projects within the Digital entity of Assystem.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE and
  • You have a passion for new technologies, are curious and rigorous, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Redux Toolkit, Redux-Saga, custom hooks, TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API-first design, and event-driven systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and server configuration.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with additional JavaScript frameworks (Angular, , ) is a plus.
  • Excellent grasp of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, TDD/BDD).
  • Strong problem solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (French is a plus).

Nice-to-Have (Preferred)

  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Exposure to real-time systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • .Knowledge of security frameworks (OAuth, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory integration).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for OpenKM deployment.
  • Prior experience in records management, digital archiving, or compliance-driven industries.
