Position Overview:

We are looking for a
Toy Designer
who can conceptualize, design, and deliver
3D DIY toy models
. The ideal candidate should have a passion for creativity, innovation, and child-centric design. This role is open to both
freelancers and full-time job seekers
, and the budget is flexible depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative
  DIY 3D toy concepts
  from ideation to execution.
• Create 3D models, design layouts, and assembly instructions for toys.
• Ensure designs are
  safe, age-appropriate, and engaging
  for children.
• Collaborate with the product and content teams to align toy designs with
  educational and creative goals
  .
• Research global toy trends and incorporate unique, innovative ideas.
• Prepare prototypes and refine designs based on testing and feedback.
• Work closely with manufacturers/vendors for material selection and production feasibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in
  toy design, product design, or industrial design
  , preferably with a portfolio of DIY or 3D toys.
• Strong proficiency in
  3D design software
  (AutoCAD, Blender, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
• Creativity, innovation, and a child-first mindset in design thinking.
• Understanding of
  safety standards
  and usability in toy design.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, functional designs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Background in
  STEM/educational toy design
  .
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and eco-friendly toy design.
• Experience in prototyping and 3D printing.
