Job Description – Counselor (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Position Overview:

The Counselor will play a key role in promoting emotional well-being, motivation, and career

clarity among students. The role involves conducting counseling sessions, facilitating

workshops, and supporting outreach programs in schools, colleges, and community settings.

This position offers flexibility for professionals to contribute part-time, utilizing their free

hours to conduct sessions both offline and online.

Educational Qualification:

 Minimum: Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Clinical

Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Social Work.

 Preferred: Additional qualifications or certifications in Career Counseling, Youth

Counseling, Life Skills Education, or Guidance & Counseling.

 Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

 Confidence in engaging diverse audiences and promoting programs effectively.

 A professional, empathetic, and passionate approach toward student and community

development.

 Familiarity with digital platforms, virtual counseling tools, and session reporting.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

 Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address diverse emotional,

behavioral, and developmental needs.

 Support outreach and engagement initiatives through awareness sessions and

programs across different groups and communities.

 Maintain confidential counseling records and provide periodic progress reports to the

program team.

 Collaborate with stakeholders, including coordinators, team leaders, and families, to

identify individuals requiring counseling and ensure appropriate support.

 Participate in training, orientation, and development programs to enhance counseling

effectiveness.

Work Type and Flexibility:

 Part-Time Engagement: Counselors may contribute during free hours or weekends to

conduct sessions online or offline.

 Full-Time Engagement: Option available for those interested in a comprehensive role

combining counseling, coordination, and outreach leadership.

Salary:

Part-Time Engagement: Rs 500/hr and above based on experience

Full-Time Engagement: 4.8 LPA and above based on experience
