Snr. Specialist DDIT APD Platforms

Location: Hyderabad

The Snr. Spec. Test Expert in Data & Analytics Team is responsible for ensuring the quality & reliability of multiple products developed. This role plays a crucial part in the overall product delivery lifecycle by validating new products, existing product enhancements, defect fixes, and recommend improvements on the overall user experience.

Major accountabilities:

• Collaborate with AWS Analytics Platform team-members to define overall test strategies for multiple products
• Drive the standard execution of multiple test phase (system, integration, functional, regression, acceptance, performance etc.)
• Ensure all test related deliverables are created to quality in line with defined GxP and Non-GxP processes
• Collaborate regularly with eCompliance, Quality Managers, Security Architects / Managers to perform review of different artifacts for final sign-off
• Enable automation with approved tools or in-house developed code-based frameworks as required
• Expand the testing scope by including boundary cases, negative cases, edge/corner cases etc.
• Integrate testing with DevOps pipeline with tools like (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.) for one click test & deployment to higher environments
• Work closely with resources from partner organization in terms of mentoring, delegation of work & timely delivery

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, or any other technology related field
• Engineering or computer science degree with 8+ years' experience in quality engineering / testing space
• Strong expertise on manual testing and automation testing (preferably – Selenium, Postman, Jmeter tools)
• Excellent knowledge on programming languages – JAVA. Good to have knowledge on Python
• Experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies – EC2, EBS, EFS, ECS, EKS, S3, Cloudtrail, IAM etc.
• Hands-On with DevOps tools like – Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
• JIRA & Confluence knowledge is a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a global environment a must.
• Has an open and learning mindset. Adapts to new learning approaches and methods.
• Work as part of Agile development team, fully participating in Scrum ceremonies and development processes.
