Job Description

Job Description – Sr Planning Engineer

  1. General Requirement
  1. B.S Civil Engineer or Project management degree from a reputable University.
  2. Have minimum (10) years of experience in the Construction industry.
  3. Have experience of at least (7) years in the KSA with reputable firms.
  4. Primavera P6 experience & degree.
  5. knowledge on project management requirements.
  6. Well versed in spoken and written English.
  7. Contracts management experience.
  8. PMPI-SP certificate is a Plus.
  9. Power PI experience is a plus.
  10. Dispute resolution knowledge is a Plus.

B. Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Tendering stage:-
    1. Prepare planning & scheduling requirements (WPS, Baseline & Look ahead schedules).
    2. Evaluating tender documents, drawings & requirements.
  2. Post Award: -
  1. Prepare project brief based on the tender award document.
  2. Progress monitoring & advice to the Management team.
  3. Prepare internal & external Planning reports to stakeholders including: -
    • Delays.
    • S-Curve.
    • Critical Path analysis.
    • Earned value.
    • Manpower histograms.
  1. Delay analysis & recovery plans.
  2. Contractual Claims (EOT).
  3. Risk Management; include mitigation strategy & impact analysis.
