We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Purview and Data Governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will drive data governance initiatives, ensure compliance, and implement best practices for data quality and security.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Azure Purview for data governance, cataloging, and privacy compliance.
  • Establish data quality standards, metrics, and processes for monitoring and improving data integrity.
  • Define and maintain data classification frameworks aligned with organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data stewardship roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain data quality and security.
  • Implement data management tools and technologies to support governance initiatives.
  • Develop automation strategies for governance workflows and data masking.
  • Ensure adherence to BCM principles in data governance processes.

Technical Exposure:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Purview Catalog and privacy features.
  • Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration.
  • Strong understanding of SQL for data profiling and validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with data lineage, metadata management, and privacy regulations.
  • Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
