Overview:

Lead end-to-end AWS migrations: assess data/ETL feasibility in discovery, set up infra, convert the blueprint to executable plans, guide engineers, and build on AWS services. Ensure data quality and audited reconciliation, and speed adjacent PoCs/projects with reusable patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep data analysis and profiling; assess ETL and infrastructure feasibility during discovery for Migration.
  • Set up AWS environments (accounts, VPC, IAM, S3, Glue)
  • Build and operate ETL/ELT with AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Embed data-quality checks, control totals, and reconciliation; drive defect triage and sign-off.
    Enforce coding standards, reviews, testing, and deployments; manage dev test- prod promotions.
  • Ensure security and compliance (PII masking, encryption/KMS, secrets management).

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years in data engineering; 2–4 years leading AWS migration delivery
  • Strong in developing Data Pipelines on AWS Services.
  • Infrastructure basics: VPC, IAM, S3, KMS, networking; Git and CI/CD; Terraform or CloudFormation
  • proven data quality and reconciliation implementation with audit-ready documentation
  • Nice to have: Telecom domain exposure
