Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst DQ/Gov (EDG Steward) to support enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Informatica Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) or similar tools, with proven skills in data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship.

This role ensures data is accurate, standardized, and compliant across multiple systems and business domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a Data Steward to support Data Governance and Data Quality (DQ) frameworks.
  • Manage and maintain metadata, business glossaries, and data lineage using Informatica EDG / Axon / EDC.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, standards, and metrics.
  • Collaborate with data owners, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure data consistency and compliance.
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and anomaly detection to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor and report data quality KPIs, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies.
  • Support end-to-end data management lifecycle across various systems.
  • Coordinate with the DQ and MDM teams to align governance strategies with operational data flows.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 610 years of experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Stewardship roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica EDG, Axon, EDC, or similar governance tools.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, metadata management, and business glossaries.
  • Experience in data profiling and data quality analysis.
  • Familiarity with Informatica IDQ / PowerCenter / MDM tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data lineage, cataloging, and data governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to work with global teams in a structured, process-driven environment.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Experience working with Cloud data governance tools (AWS Glue, Collibra, Alation).
  • Certification in Informatica Data Governance / Data Management is a plus.
