To be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and corporate clients, ensuring a professional, courteous, and efficient experience.

The receptionist manages patient registration, appointment scheduling, and coordination for general and occupational health services while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting seamless service delivery.

  1. Patient and Visitor Handling:
    • Greet patients, families, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
    • Direct patients to appropriate departments or service points (OPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, etc.).
    • Provide accurate information about hospital services, departments, and schedules.

  2. Registration and Appointments:
    • Register new and follow-up patients in the hospital information system (HIS).
    • Schedule appointments for doctors, diagnostic tests, and occupational health check-ups.
    • Ensure completeness of personal and billing information during registration.

  3. Coordination for Occupational Health Services:
    • Coordinate the registration and flow of employees from corporate clients attending periodic health check-ups.
    • Prepare check-up forms, ID labels, and route slips for occupational health screening packages.
    • Ensure group appointments, reports, and billing are handled as per corporate agreements.

  4. Billing and Records:
    • Generate registration slips, invoices, and provisional bills where applicable.
    • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data.
    • Ensure smooth coordination with the billing department for corporate and walk-in clients.

  5. Communication & Liaison:
    • Answer and route telephone inquiries.
    • Communicate with departments (laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, doctors) to manage delays or patient queries.
    • Coordinate with HR/Admin of corporate clients for scheduling and report delivery.

  6. Support Services and Documentation:
    • Maintain visitor logs and help desks in designated areas.
    • Collect and deliver reports, maintain daily footfall and service logs.
    • Assist in collecting feedback from patients and clients.
