We have an urgent open position for below roles-

Data Engineer/Analyst

Location: Gurgaon

Role Overview:

We are looking for an enterprising person who can understand and define (as required):

• Technical requirements of the analytic solutions
• Data requirements of the analytic solution processes
• Analytic strategies to meet the demands of business requirements
• The person will be part of the Data Solutions team for a major Insurance client. He/ She will work with different stakeholders to support data and analytics solution development/maintenance/enhancementwork
• Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new solutions
• A typical workday will involve working with stakeholders in individual contributor.
• Develop and deploy various data models, BI/dashboard (over PowerBI), support with enhancement of dashboard or data pipelines
• Design and Implement Snow pipe, Stage and file upload to Snowflake databases
• Design and develop PowerBI dashboard along with transformations through Power Query or DAX
• A suitable candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role and should possess a go -getter attitude. He/ She should be able to deal with ambiguity.
• Experience in insurance preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities &

Skillsets:

Data analytics or visualization skills using PowerBI

• Experience with migration projects to Snowflake (Data source mappings, Data Loading, Data Validations etc) and recreating dashboards/reporting in PowerBI
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Experience in managing codes and collaborating with customer on model evolution
• Good knowledge of data base management and SQL, Good to have- Hadoop/Spark, HIVE

Superior analytical and problem solving skills

Should be able to work on a problem independently and prepare client ready

deliverable with minimal or no supervision

Good communication skill for client interaction

• Data Management & Visualization Skillsets:
• Ability to understand data models and identify ETL optimization opportunities. Exposure to ETL

development and deployment

• Should have strong grasp of advanced SQL/Snowflake functionalities to move out all SAS

production data pipelines to snowflake

• Ability to understand data schema/models (Star/Snowflake schema) and existing data

visualizations

• Strong ability to translate functional specifications / requirements to technical requirements

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, computer

science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the

same fields from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply

• Strong and in-depth understanding of DE, Visualization Fundamentals
• Data analysis experience
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in fast pace continuously evolving environment and ready to take up uphill challenges
