Job Description
This is a Permanent role with one of the seed funded startup in fintech domain - A valued client of Hiredahead.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new user-facing features and components using and its core principles.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, well-structured, and reusable code.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Write unit and integration tests (e.g., using Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure code quality and robustness.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UI performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Contribute to our engineering best practices, including code reviews and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on professional experience as a Frontend Engineer or similar role.
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong expertise in and common React workflows (e.g., Redux, Context API, Hooks).
  • Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
  • Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
