We're Hiring: Senior Data Engineer (Remote)

Join our growing data team as a Senior Data Engineer and help shape the future of data infrastructure and analytics. We're looking for someone with strong Databricks expertise and a passion for building robust, scalable data solutions.

Location: Remote

Experience: 8+ years

Employment Type: Full-time

What You'll Do:

  • Build and optimize Silver/Gold layer pipelines using Databricks (DLT, Delta tables, Unity Catalog)
  • Translate raw data from Zuora, Commerce Tools, APIs, and legacy systems into curated datasets
  • Apply business logic, data quality checks, and standardization
  • Audit and replatform legacy data pipelines for modern architectures
  • Ensure full lineage tracking and support downstream reporting tools
  • Partner with analysts and stakeholders to validate metrics and models
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including data dictionaries and pipeline logic
  • Drive metadata tagging and cataloging in Unity Catalog

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong data modeling (Kimball methodology)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Deep hands-on experience with Databricks: workflows, DLTs, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog
  • Familiarity with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
  • Experience with version control (GitHub)
  • Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, and observability
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
