Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks including monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system health checks for SAP systems on HANA DB.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP S/4HANA E4H landscapes.
  • Manage HANA database administration tasks such as backup/recovery, replication setup, performance optimization, and housekeeping.
  • Support SAP BTP integrations, connectivity, and extensions in coordination with development and architecture teams.
  • Perform system copies, refreshes, and client administration as per project and operational needs.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for SAP HANA databases and application components.
  • Coordinate with SAP support for OSS incidents and implement recommended solutions.
  • Apply support packages, SAP notes, kernel upgrades, and security patches as required.
  • Support SAP E4H application teams with technical issues, transports, and change requests.
  • Document technical configurations, operational procedures, and changes effectively.
  • Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams for integrated support.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations for critical issues resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Expertise in SAP HANA database administration including performance tuning, backups, and system replication.
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Connector, and BTP services integration with SAP systems.
  • Provide specialized BASIS and HANA support for SAP applications running on "Edition for HANA" (E4H), particularly in areas like SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) E4H
  • Collaborate with functional and application teams to address E4H-specific technical issues and optimize performance.
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS) hosting SAP workloads.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate controls and monitoring are in place.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
