Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Safety Officer role based in Kundrathur ,Chennai. The Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety training programs. Additional duties include investigating workplace accidents, identifying potential hazards, and providing solutions to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficient knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health standards
  • Experience in Accident Investigation and incident reporting in a workplace setting
  • Strong ability to deliver effective Safety Training programs
  • Understanding of workplace Security measures and their implementation
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Relevant certifications in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable
  • Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing sector is a plus
