Al Salama School of Safety Studies is looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Department (HOD) – Logistics Faculty. The ideal candidate will lead the logistics department, deliver quality education, and design, develop, and implement new logistics syllabi aligned with industry requirements and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Logistics Faculty and department operations
  • Create, design, and update new logistics and supply chain syllabi
  • Ensure syllabus alignment with industry trends and regulatory standards
  • Plan course structure, learning outcomes, and assessment methods
  • Deliver lectures and practical training in logistics-related subjects
  • Supervise faculty members and provide academic guidance
  • Monitor teaching quality and student performance
  • Coordinate academic planning with management
  • Drive continuous improvement in curriculum and teaching methods

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management or related field

Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or industry experience in logistics

Proven experience in syllabus creation or curriculum development

Prior experience as HOD / Academic Head / Senior Faculty preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and curriculum planning skills

Ability to manage faculty and students effectively

Preferred Skills:

Industry experience in logistics and supply chain operations

Experience in training institutes, colleges, or academies

Strong presentation, mentoring, and syllabus-planning skills
