Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SS304 enclosure designer with strong expertise in 3D CAD design software to develop stainless steel enclosures for industrial and process applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing robust enclosures considering fabrication feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design SS304 enclosures (control panels, process equipment covers, junction boxes, etc.) in 3D CAD (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo / Inventor).
  • Prepare detailed 2D fabrication drawings, DXF files for laser cutting, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
  • Work closely with the production/fabrication team to ensure designs are manufactured.
  • Apply knowledge of sheet metal design, bending, welding, and finishing in enclosure design.
  • Conduct material optimization to reduce cost while maintaining quality and strength.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant IP protection, safety, and industry standards.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Solid Works / Auto Desk Inventor / Creo / AutoCAD (mention the preferred software).
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Experience in stainless steel (SS304) design.
  • Ability to generate 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, and exploded views.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of welding symbols, GD&T, and manufacturing tolerances.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Salary Range:
