Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jacquard Designer based in Surat. The Jacquard Designer will be responsible for creating intricate and innovative fabric designs tailored to client requirements. Daily tasks include developing design patterns, preparing necessary specifications, ensuring optimal utilization of Jacquard looms, and collaborating with the production team to ensure the feasibility of designs for fabrication. The role requires close attention to detail, creativity, and market trend awareness.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Jacquard design techniques and weaving processes
• Experience with design software and CAD tools related to fabric design
• Knowledge of color theory, pattern development, and textile materials
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with production and client teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving market trends
• Prior experience in the textile industry and familiarity with modern weaving technology is a plus
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textiles, Design, or a related field is preferred
