About the Role :We are seeking a talented and passionate Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. This role requires a strong understanding of backend development principles, experience with relevant technologies, and a passion for building robust and efficient systems. Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Implement and maintain databases and data storage solutions.
- Integrate with third-party services and APIs.
- Ensure the performance, security, and stability of our backend systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to define API contracts and data flow.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our platform.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in backend development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language : (i.e., Java, Python, , Go, Ruby on Rails, C#/.NET).
- Experience with relational databases (i.e., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (i.e., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems (i.e., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and1 collaboration skills.
- Programming Languages : Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django/Flask), (Express), Go, Ruby on Rails, C#/.
NET)
- Databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis
- API Development : RESTful APIs, API design principles, Swagger/OpenAPI
- Version Control : GitPreferred Qualifications :
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with message queues (i.e., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with caching technologies (i.e. Redis, Memcached).
- Knowledge of security best practices for backend development.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies )
