Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize applications on the Liferay platform according to project requirements
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Write clean and efficient code while adhering to best practices
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications
  • Document the development process and provide updates to the project manager
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Liferay Developer
  • Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with developing custom portlets, themes, and hooks using Liferay
  • Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integrations
  • Basic understanding of version control systems, such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with the team
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
