Job Description: Accounts Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the accounts team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Manage and guide the accounts team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to support management in decision-making.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure timely closure of books.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Min 8 years of experience
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or professional certification like CA/CPA/CMA is a plus).
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
