About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Expert to join our engineering team.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for our applications.

You will work closely with development, DevOps, and cloud teams to create production-grade, automated Kubernetes solutions that support CI/CD pipelines, microservices architectures, and cloud-native operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Kubernetes clusters (on-premise or cloud) with high availability and resiliency.

- Manage containerized application deployments and troubleshoot issues across pods, nodes, and services.

- Optimize Kubernetes resource usage, scaling strategies, and cluster performance.

- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for Kubernetes environments.

- Ensure security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and pod security.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with Kubernetes for automated deployments.

- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Helm, Terraform, or Ansible.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, deployment strategies, and operational standards.

- Stay up to date with the latest Kubernetes features, ecosystem tools, and CNCF projects.

Required Skills & Experience :

years of experience working with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, controllers, CRDs, ingress, service mesh, etc.

- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters on major cloud platforms (AWS EKS, GCP GKE, Azure AKS) or on-prem setups.

- Strong knowledge of Helm charts, Kustomize, or other Kubernetes configuration tools.

- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Jaeger).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, Flux.

- Expertise in networking concepts : load balancing, ingress, service discovery, DNS, etc.

- Solid understanding of cloud-native security principles.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Go, etc.)

- Familiarity with GitOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Kubernetes Certified Administrator (CKA) or Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (CKAD).

- Experience working with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).

- Background in microservices architectures and scalable system design.

- Familiarity with multi-cluster or hybrid-cloud Kubernetes environments.
