Job Title: Sr. Salesforce Developer Overview The role of Sr. Salesforce Developer is crucial to the success of our organization, as it centers on developing and customizing Salesforce applications to meet complex business requirements. This individual will design, implement, and maintain solutions that leverage Salesforce's capabilities to enhance customer relationships and streamline internal processes. The Sr. Salesforce Developer will work closely with product owners, project managers, and other developers to ensure alignment with organizational goals. With hands-on experience, this role is responsible for driving technical aspects of Salesforce implementations, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Furthermore, the developer will be instrumental in transforming business needs into effective Salesforce applications, delivering solutions that optimize efficiency and reliability. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with Salesforce technologies, possess strong analytical skills, and be eager to stay updated on the latest Salesforce trends and features. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Implement robust Salesforce integrations with third-party services and applications.
  • Analyze business requirements and transform them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build effective solutions within Salesforce.
  • Perform code reviews, providing feedback and mentoring junior developers.
  • Ensure high-quality coding standards and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Salesforce applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive Sprint planning efforts.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of technical designs, configurations, and processes.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Implement data modeling and architecture best practices within Salesforce.
  • Build and deploy test classes to ensure high code coverage and reliability.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and provide technical insights.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users on new Salesforce features and applications.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, optimizing as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Salesforce Certified Developer (PD1) certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience with Apex programming and Visualforce pages.
  • Strong understanding of Lightning components and App Builder.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs.
  • Familiarity with databases and data modeling practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Experience in developing custom Salesforce solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in Salesforce technologies.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus.
