Sr. Payroll Administrator:

Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, retroactive pay, and deductions.

Maintain accurate records of garnishment balances and ensure timely payments to agencies

Review and validate payroll reports, including payroll registers, tax filings, and general ledger entries.

Maintain compliance with laws, including FLSA, and ensure proper tax withholdings.

Manage and audit timekeeping systems (e.g., ADP Time & Attendance) to ensure accurate employee hours and leave balances.

Correct missed punches and ensure timely submission of timecards.

Review and approve time off requests, ensuring proper documentation and policy adherence.

Enter and maintain employee data, including new hires, terminations, job changes, pay rate changes, and transfers.

Monitor workflow approvals and follow up on pending items to ensure timely processing

Process final paychecks and vacation payouts for terminated employees.

Generate and analyze payroll reports such as Employee Transactions and Totals, Payroll Register, and Audit Logs.

Reconcile payroll data with HR and Finance records to ensure accuracy.
