RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect and implement REST APIs.

Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.

Lead integration of GenAI-powered capabilities into backend systems, including

prompt-based APIs and tool-using agents.

Test software to ensure responsiveness, correctness and efficiency.

Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.

Take initiatives to build better and faster solutions to the problems of scale.

Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage

Major Incidents.

Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing

recommendations accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

4+ years of professional experience.

Expertise in JavaScript (ES6) and Node JS is a must.

Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

In-depth knowledge of frameworks like Express JS and Restify.

Experience in building backend services for handling data at large scale is a must.

Ability to architect high-availability applications and servers on cloud adhering to

best practices. Microservices architecture is preferable.

Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and

MongoDB.

Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent GenAI agentic

frameworks is a strong plus.

Experience writing complex SQL queries.

In-depth knowledge of Node JS concepts like the event loop.

Ability to perform technical deep-dives into code.

Experience building and deploying GenAI-powered backend services or tools (e.g.,

prompt routers, embedding search, RAG pipelines).

Understanding of communication using WebSockets.

Good understanding of clean architecture and SOLID principles.

Basic knowledge of AWS and Docker containerization is preferable.

Experience in Python is a plus.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to

accelerate development, assist in code reviews, and support efficient coding practices

is a plus.
