Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Azure DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and containerization. This role plays a key part in streamlining development processes, ensuring smooth deployments, and supporting DevOps best practices across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Configure and maintain build and release pipelines with tools like Git, SonarQube, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Manage Azure services: App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Key Vault, etc.
  • Monitor environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, IT) on deployments and code releases.
  • Ensure adherence to security and governance standards.
  • Promote DevOps best practices and automation strategies.
  • Maintain proper documentation of system configurations and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud services.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Experience with ARM Templates, Terraform, and Bicep.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of Git and version control practices.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
