One of Our Client Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer specializing in Facade Design to join our dynamic team. with 8-15 Years of experience from Bangalore.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing facade systems, ensuring structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed facade designs, including shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings, using CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of facade systems under various load conditions.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of facade designs into overall building designs.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents to understand design requirements and constraints.
  • Select appropriate materials and components for facade systems, considering factors such as cost, performance, aesthetics, and sustainability.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate design concepts and findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect facade installations and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in facade design technology, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and designers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues that may arise during the design, fabrication, or installation phases.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
  • Contribute to the development of company standards and best practices for facade design.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in facade design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
  • In-depth knowledge of facade systems, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE, ASTM).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
