Chef – Chacha Kitchen (Barwala, Distt. Panchkula, Haryana)

Chacha Kitchen is hiring a hands-on, quality-driven Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and deliver delicious, consistent meals. The ideal candidate has strong North Indian/tandoor skills, maintains high hygiene standards, and enjoys training a small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan daily menus and specials; manage prep and portioning
  • Execute curries, tandoor items, breads, snacks, and seasonal dishes to standard recipes
  • Ensure FSSAI-compliant hygiene, FIFO stock rotation, and clean workstations
  • Control food costs, minimize wastage, and coordinate purchasing with vendors
  • Train and supervise junior cooks; manage shift rosters
  • Maintain guest feedback loop and continuously improve taste and presentation

Requirements

  • 2–5 years' experience as Chef/Commis/Tandoor Chef (restaurant or cloud kitchen)
  • Strong knowledge of North Indian cuisine; multi-cuisine is a plus
  • Understanding of food safety, portioning, and kitchen equipment
  • Reliability, teamwork, and the ability to handle rush hours
