About the Role

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Software Development Engineer Intern (SDE Intern) to join our product engineering team. This internship is perfect for final-year students seeking hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using the MERN Stack. At Ocio, you will focus on full-stack development with React and and contribute to building intelligent recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN Stack
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features
  • Write clean, modular, and efficient code adhering to best practices
  • Participate in debugging, testing, and code reviews to ensure quality
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies within the MERN ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Currently in the pursuing of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, , React, )
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Git and version control systems
  • Good grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

  • Internship, project, or hackathon experience using the MERN Stack
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
