Srikem Laboratories Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanical Engineer to join our operations team. This role falls under the Operations, Maintenance & Support and Production categories, offering a dynamic environment for a mechanical engineering professional to contribute to our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of plant machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment, including pumps, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, including identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and equipment efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of necessary components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Core Skills:
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, including pumps, compressors, and other machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience and Expectations
- Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
