We are currently seeking a Business Consulting-Window migration Consultant to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

We are seeking an experienced
Windows Migration Consultant
to lead and support enterprise-level migrations from legacy Windows environments to modern platforms (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, or Microsoft Azure). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, end-to-end migration planning, and hands-on technical execution, ensuring minimal business disruption during migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess existing Windows infrastructure, applications, and dependencies.
• Design and implement migration strategies for desktops, servers, and applications.
• Perform migrations from legacy Windows versions (e.g., Windows 7/8, Windows Server 2008/2012) to supported platforms (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Azure/Intune).
• Conduct compatibility testing for applications, drivers, and hardware.
• Develop automation scripts and use migration tools (MDT, SCCM, Intune, ADMT, USMT, etc.).
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and user profile migrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute migration waves.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related technical issues.
• Provide technical documentation, post-migration support, and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience (3–7 years) in Windows migration projects at enterprise scale.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies: Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, and Group Policies.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools (MDT, ADMT, USMT, SCCM task sequences).
• Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud migration is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, or Modern Desktop Administrator) are preferred.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple migration tasks.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and customer-focused.
