Job Title: Senior Golang Developer (AWS Serverless)

Experience Level: 8+ years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Developer with strong expertise in AWS Serverless and multi-tier application architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing backend services hosted on AWS, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance existing backend services or develop new ones within AWS Serverless and multi-tier EC2-based architectures.
  • Collaborate within an agile scrum team to deliver business-driven solutions.
  • Participate in design sessions and contribute to system architecture discussions.
  • Perform requirements analysis, effort estimation, and support release analysis and deployment activities.
  • Partner with Technical Leads, Solution Architects, DevOps, and other developers to build prototypes and production-ready features leveraging AWS services.
  • Automate unit testing, deployment, and validation processes using modern CI/CD practices.
  • Apply clean coding standards and software best practices to maintain high-quality code.
  • Prepare and maintain low-level design documentation for new and modified product features.
  • Ensure security, performance, and scalability in all implemented solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Proven expertise in Golang development.
  • Strong AWS Cloud experience, including Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.) and EC2-based deployments.
  • Proficiency in RESTful service design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of unit testing methodologies, release management, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticache.
  • Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as JFrog Xray, SonarQube, JUnit, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway management.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
