Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Technician to carry out installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of lifts and elevators. The role involves ensuring that all electrical and control systems are properly configured, tested, and compliant with safety standards before handover to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical installation, wiring, and connection of lift/elevator systems.
  • Perform commissioning, calibration, and functional testing of electrical and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults, control panel issues, and communication system errors.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Work with mechanical teams to integrate electrical systems during installation.
  • Prepare test reports, commissioning documentation, and handover records.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users or maintenance teams if required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in electrical installation and commissioning (preferably in lifts/elevators).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, VFDs, PLCs, and sensors.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
