This position is with one of our clients in India, who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.

Title : Java Developer (J2EE).

Location : Pune, India Hybrid.

Employment Type : C2H.

Role :

As a Software Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and customize software configurations that align with business process designs and application requirements.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and support software configuration and customization activities.

- Develop complex, event-driven/reactive systems that are fault-tolerant and globally distributed.

- Build high-performance applications using Java/C with strong emphasis on concurrency, networking, and algorithms.

- Deliver ultra-low latency and/or high throughput solutions for domains such as Financial Markets or Big Data Analytics.

- Ensure solution quality by applying Agile methodologies, test-driven development, and code best practices.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights.

- Support build automation and version control processes.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (minimum 5 years).

- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and networking protocols (TCP/UDP).

- Experience in concurrency, memory management, and Linux internals.

- Knowledge of GC, JNI, Java Unsafe, JNR-FFI (preferred).

- Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Kotlin, Shell) for tooling.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with C programming and low-latency systems.

- Exposure to CPU/GPU architecture and shared memory concepts.

- Knowledge of Aeron framework.

- Understanding of full software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
