Position: Subject Matter Expert (Organic Chemistry)

Location: Noida, India On-site

Experience: 2-5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in organic chemistry for compound design, synthesis, and analytical support.
  • Plan, execute and troubleshoot organic reactions, isolations and purifications.
  • Interpret analytical data (e.g., NMR, HPLC, MS) and provide technical recommendations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support R&D and enable scale-up of chemical processes.
  • Document experimental work, maintain lab records, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry (specialising in Organic Chemistry preferred).
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in organic synthesis, reaction development and characterization.
  • Strong understanding of reaction mechanisms and synthetic strategy.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work full-time at the Noida office.

Preferred (but not mandatory):

  • Experience in pharmaceutical / agrochemical development.
  • Familiarity with GLP/chemical safety norms.
  • Publication or patent involvement in organic chemistry.
