Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled
PL/SQL Tester
with strong analytical, testing, and database validation skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing stored procedures, queries, and database components, ensuring high data accuracy and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute SQL and PL/SQL scripts to validate data integrity and business logic.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing for database-driven applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Validate ETL processes and data transformations.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on PL/SQL code quality.
  • Ensure compliance with data standards and business requirements.
  • Generate test summary reports and communicate test results with project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in software testing with a focus on PL/SQL and database testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Experience with data validation, ETL testing, and backend testing.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks for database testing is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to API testing or test automation tools.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
