Job Responsibilities

The Project Engineer identifies and marks page numbers containing jobs in manuals during the PMS data building process using the JiBe PMS Data Building Machine and MS Excel as needed. The engineer screens and extracts job titles, descriptions, and relevant details from maker manuals, ISM, SMS, CMS, and yard-supplied drawings and manuals, mapping these job titles to the JiBe Jobs Blueprint and applicable equipment in PMS.

They draft job descriptions in a clear, structured, and technically accurate manner and identify and record job attachments from manuals for inclusion in job procedures. The Project Engineer extracts machinery particulars from maker and yard manuals and drawings, merges and processes various data sources into a coherent PMS file, and ensures inclusion of class instructions, manuals, and agreed procedures (SMS jobs, Alarm jobs, critical job markings).

The Project Engineer monitors and guides teammates to achieve targets on time, providing accurate and high-quality data. They plan, assign, and report all tasks using a task management system, ensure completion of tasks and projects as per the required schedule, and bring experience in machine learning and AI data building processes.

Required Skills

· Basic-level knowledge of MS Excel.

· Good understanding of PMS equipment structure and maintenance jobs.

· B.E. / Diploma Marine Engineer qualification.

· Experience in reading and understanding machinery manuals and drawings, PMS jobs extraction, and sailing experience as a 3rd/4th Engineer or Junior Marine Engineer onboard.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360, ₹480,000.00 per year
