The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Deep Learning Engineer to pioneer the next generation of our Video AI capabilities. This role is perfect for someone who is energized by seeing their research directly influence a cutting-edge product and make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving field of AI.

What You'll Do

• From Cutting-Edge Research to Production: Lead the translation of advanced academic research (e.g., activity recognition, multi-camera tracking, Video Language Models) into robust, deployable, and scalable features for our platform.
• Innovate and Optimize Deep Learning Models: Design, develop, and meticulously optimize Deep Learning models for sophisticated human activity analysis in video, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial concept to successful deployment.
• Drive End-to-End System Ownership: Take full ownership of key Deep Learning modules, ensuring their robustness, efficiency, and seamless integration with our broader AI platform. You will collaborate closely with our full-stack engineering teams to deliver cohesive and performant solutions.
• Advance Our AI Capabilities: Continuously explore and integrate new techniques and architectures to enhance model accuracy, performance, and scalability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 4-5 years of industry experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on practical, project-driven Deep Learning within the Video AI or Computer Vision domain.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Exceptional proficiency in Python, with a strong emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and production-ready code.
• Deep practical expertise with PyTorch for model development and ONNX for model optimization and deployment.
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying robust data pipelines for Computer Vision projects.
• Proficiency in setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing Linux-based workstations, including hands-on experience with CUDA and OpenCV.
• Strong foundational and practical understanding of Deep Learning concepts (e.g., optimizers, attention mechanisms, masking, advanced model tuning techniques).
• Proven experience with successful implementations of activity detection or object detection algorithms.
• A keen ability to critically read, understand, and effectively implement state-of-the-art approaches from academic research papers.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: A strong track record of tackling complex technical challenges and transforming innovative ideas into tangible product features.
