Role Overview:

We're looking for a passionate
Senior IoT Developer
to design and build cutting-edge
Java-based applications for IoT Edge Devices
running in Linux environments. If you thrive in a performance-critical, distributed systems environment and want to work on production-grade IoT/Edge solutions — this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust
    Java
    applications for IoT Edge devices
  • Optimize applications for
    performance, reliability, and security
    in Linux-based systems
  • Handle
    device connectivity
    , data ingestion, and protocol communication with cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with
    hardware, platform, and backend teams
    for end-to-end solution delivery
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues in
    remote distributed edge systems
  • Follow best practices for clean, modular, and well-documented code


Must-Have Skills:

  • 4–6 years of
    Java development
    experience (Spring Boot preferred)
  • Strong hands-on with
    Linux environments
    , shell scripting, and system debugging
  • Familiarity with
    IoT and Edge Computing concepts
  • Experience with
    communication protocols
    like MQTT, CoAP, or AMQP
  • Working knowledge of
    REST APIs, Microservices architecture
  • Exposure to
    Kafka
    ,
    SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle)
    , and
    Git-based workflows


Good to Have (Bonus Points):

  • Experience with
    IoT Edge platforms
    (AWS Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, Eclipse Kura)
  • Knowledge of
    HVAC systems
    , refrigeration, or
    embedded device platforms
  • Familiarity with
    Docker
    or container-based deployment for testing
