Roles & Responsibilities :-
1. Preventative & Predictive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all plant machineries.
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and address potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques to forecast equipment failures and schedule timely repairs.
2. Breakdown & Corrective Maintenance:
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Lead and perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to restore machine functionality quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain a detailed log of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time taken.
3. Equipment & Systems Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all types of machines used in the corrugation industry, including:
- Corrugation Line: Single facers, double backers, preheaters, etc.
- Converting Machines: Flexo printers, rotary die cutters, platen die cutters, folder gluers, stitchers, and bundlers.
- Axillary Equipment: Boilers, air compressors, material handling systems, & scrap balers.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).
4. Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Oversee compliance with all local and national regulations related to machinery operation and maintenance.
- Participate in safety audits and contribute to a culture of continuous safety improvement.
5. Team Leadership & Inventory:
- Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians and contract workers.
- Manage the spare parts inventory, ensuring critical spares are always available with min max reorder level to prevent extended downtime.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for specialized repairs or parts procurement.
