We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of CT detectors. This role will be responsible for driving new designs as well as modifications and improvements, with a strong focus on manufacturability and assembly. The position will also lead cost-reduction and manufacturing transfer projects, collaborating with global teams and suppliers to deliver competitive and high-quality products.

Essential Responsibilities- Lead mechanical design activities for new CT detector development and design improvements
- Ensure design quality by incorporating manufacturing and assembly process considerations
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and support manufacturing transfer projects
- Plan and execute prototype assembly, evaluation, and reporting
- Collaborate with international teams and suppliers to successfully deliver projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

- 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo)
- Proven track record in leading both new designs and design modifications
- Experience in design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA)
- Fluent-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills to drive global development work
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and proactive mindset
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a global environment
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with global teams and suppliers
