Marathon Realty has been shaping the Mumbai skyline for over 54 years, with over 100 completed projects. We are currently undertaking several townships, affordable housing projects, ultra-luxury skyscrapers, small offices, and large business centers in the fastest-growing neighborhoods. Our projects are spread across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with ongoing projects at Lower Parel, Byculla, Mulund, Bhandup, Dombivli, and Panvel.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimation Engineer located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, preparing bid documents, and collaborating with project managers and construction teams. The role involves detailed analysis of project drawings, specifications, and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quantity Surveying:

Expertise in BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) and finishing quantity calculation for high-rise building projects.

Ensure accurate preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) in alignment with project requirements.

  • Budgeting & Costing:

Develop and manage project budgets, optimizing costs without compromising quality.

Analyze project costs and propose strategies for cost-effective execution.

  • Cost Monitoring:

Monitor ongoing project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.

Track variances and recommend corrective actions when required.

  • Reconciliation:

Hands-on experience with the reconciliation of construction materials such as steel, concrete, cement, tiles, etc.

  • RERA Compliance:

Knowledge of RERA regulations, including preparation of Architectural and Engineering Certificates.

  • Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for measurement and drawing interpretation.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 year of site experience in quantity surveying.
  • Proven experience in quantification of civil and finishing items.
  • Strong understanding of rate analysis and material reconciliation.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
