SAP FI-AR Consultant (S/4) 

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are in search of a skilled SAP S/4 FI-AR Consultant to become part of our Bayer Contract to Cash IT team to manage our global S/4 HANA based ERP platform which we are rolling out worldwide under the program name CORE. The ideal candidate will partner with our business and IT Contract to Cash team members to design as well as manage the CORE template solution and deployments of CORE in countries focusing on customer account reconciliation processes including satellite integration of Digital Payment and Cash Allocation solutions. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with technical expertise in the SAP module FI-AR to support our organization's operational and project needs.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, deploy, enhance and support our global template solution within S/4 FI-AR for Bayer's business processes worldwide
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement FI-AR solutions including integrations to payment and cash allocation platforms that align with business objectives and operational requirements
• Stay updated on SAP FI-AR features, integration options, enhancements, and best practices to continuously optimize and improve our S/4 HANA landscape
• Participate in support activities (Incidents, Q&A, Service Requests, Root-cause analysis, bug fixing,...)
• Management of and collaboration with external IT Operations supplier as well as SAP

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years overall IT Experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP module FI-AR
• Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing FI-AR solutions including integration with SAP Sales & Distribution
• Knowledge in SAP FSCM, SAP Digital Finance, SAP TRM, SAP APIs, and integration tools are beneficial
• Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies is a plus
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
• Previous experience working internationally or within cross-cultural teams is highly desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
