Academic Counselor

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students in choosing the right courses and career paths, assisting them with admission procedures, and ensuring a positive counseling experience that aligns with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students regarding educational programs, admission processes, and career opportunities.
• Handle inquiries via phone calls, walk-ins, and online leads.
• Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses or programs.
• Follow up with potential students to ensure successful enrollment.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or database.
• Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams for seminar participation and event support.
• Meet and exceed weekly/monthly admission targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a professional relationship with students and parents.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing and counseling abilities.
• Goal-oriented and proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience in the education/training sector preferred.
