About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled
Garment Engineer
to support our production and design teams in developing high-quality, production-friendly garments. The role involves ensuring efficient sample development, optimizing production processes, and collaborating with designers and production teams to balance creativity with manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

Engage in sample development and ensure garments are production-friendly, supporting both R&D and design teams.

Manage quality control processes throughout all stages of garment production, from sample development to final output.

Troubleshoot production problems, including technical, material, or fit issues, and implement engineering solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Utilize industrial engineering techniques such as time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize efficiency and reduce operational waste.

Apply process engineering principles to select and configure machinery, propose attachments, and recommend automation for improved productivity and resource utilization.

Collaborate with designers, sample managers, and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, balancing creativity with production capabilities and cost constraints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of industrial engineering techniques and lean manufacturing principles.

Analytical skills to interpret production data and troubleshoot operational issues.

Knowledge of line balancing and manpower management based on production requirements.

Proficiency in CAD software for garment pattern making and technical drawings.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Design, or related fields preferred.

Strong communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and production teams.

Good command of English and local languages for smooth verbal and written communication.
