Role Overview: Join a fast-moving product team building real-world AI tools used by healthcare professionals. We're looking for a Full Stack Developer passionate about solving complex challenges—from architecting backend systems to integrating AI insights into sleek dashboards. This is a long-term contract role, and we are looking for someone who can grow with our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development using React, Python and Django and strong proficiency in frontend technologies. In addition, we're looking for someone with 1–2 years of hands-on experience applying AI/ML techniques in production environments, ideally integrated into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django, ensuring scalability and performance. Collaborate with engineering team members to implement machine learning models and AI algorithms that generate actionable insights. Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity across all integrations. Partner with the Analytics Engineer to optimize data pipelines and processing frameworks.
• Frontend Development: Build and enhance user-friendly, data-rich. Develop frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.
• System Integration & Maintenance: Work extensively with RESTful and JSON-based APIs to enable seamless data exchange across platforms. Manage cloud services and deployment environments (AWS experience preferred). Support system integration with HubSpot and other third-party platforms.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Engage with business stakeholders, including AI and engineering teams, to understand and implement project requirements. Offer technical insights to improve product functionality and development roadmap. Actively participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Backend Development: Proficient in Python with experience using Django REST framework. Skilled in database management, especially with MySQL and PostgreSQL. Demonstrated ability to design and manage secure and scalable APIs.
• Frontend Development: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern frontend framework such as Comfortable building functional, responsive interfaces designed by a UI/UX designer. Experience creating responsive designs and working with established design systems.
• System Integration & Data Handling: Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS (RDS, EC2). Version control using Git and familiarity with modern DevOps practices. Strong understanding of data governance and security standards.
• AI/ML & Additional Technical Skills: 1–2 years of experience working on AI/ML implementations within real-world applications. Integrate ML models into Django-based APIs and UI dashboards. Collaborate with data and analytics teams to extract actionable insights. Familiarity with model deployment, performance optimization, and integration workflows. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization tools (Docker). Bonus: Familiarity with HubSpot CMS development.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in the dental or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of full stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on backend systems.
• Previous experience in startup or high-growth environments is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work modified U.S. hours for optimal team collaboration.
