We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Medical Affairs Consulting team. The ideal candidate will bring deep scientific expertise, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset to support global pharmaceutical and biotech clients in advancing their medical strategies and operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Medical Affairs Consulting
- Advise clients on the development and execution of medical strategies aligned with regulatory, market, and commercial objectives.
- Deliver scientific and clinical insights to support product commercialization, market access, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor and interpret emerging trends in medical affairs to inform client strategies and internal thought leadership.
2. Medical Communications & Content Development
- Lead the creation of high-quality scientific content including medical affairs plans, advisory board materials, whitepapers, and publications.
- Ensure scientific accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client objectives across all deliverables.
- Design and implement KOL engagement strategies and scientific narratives.
3. Medical and Compliance Advisory
- Provide guidance on real-world evidence (RWE), research methodologies, and healthcare outcomes.
- Support product launches with medical governance and compliance frameworks.
- Advise clients on risk management and regulatory adherence in medical affairs operations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with commercial, market access, HEOR, and regulatory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Engage with KOLs, medical societies, and industry stakeholders to drive innovation and credibility.
- Partner with internal teams to co-develop client-centric healthcare strategies.
5. Business Development & Client Engagement
- Contribute to business strategy, client acquisition, and proposal development.
- Present strategic recommendations in client workshops and executive meetings.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through impactful delivery and thought leadership.
6. Team Development & Expansion in India
- Support the growth of a high-performing Medical Affairs team
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Strengthen Axtrias presence through strategic partnerships and capability building.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent); MBA is a plus.
- 6-12 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Strategy, or related consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product lifecycle, regulatory environment, and medical governance.
- Proven experience in scientific content development and client-facing roles.
