Role Description"

MSN Labs is looking for a dynamic and experienced
AGM – Biotechnology
to lead our fermentation operations and drive process excellence.

Department Management


• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the fermentation department


• Ensure efficient resource allocation and adherence to production schedules


• Monitor KPIs, quality standards, and overall process yields

Process Development & Optimization


• Oversee development, optimization, and scale-up of fermentation processes


• Collaborate with R&D and process engineering teams to enhance yield, efficiency & quality


• Troubleshoot technical/operational challenges in fermentation

Team Leadership


• Supervise, mentor, and guide the biotechnology team


• Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous staff development

Compliance & Documentation


• Ensure strict adherence to GMP and safety standards


• Maintain accurate batch records, SOPs, process documents, and QC data

Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering, SCM, and downstream/upstream teams


• Participate in product development, tech transfer, and scale-up activities

Equipment & Facility Oversight


• Monitor fermenters, CIP/SIP systems, and other equipment


• Ensure preventive maintenance and readiness of equipment/facilities
