About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer who has just graduated from college and is eager to kickstart their career in design. This role is perfect for someone with a fresh eye for aesthetics, strong design fundamentals, and a passion for creating visuals that connect with youth culture, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will be working closely with the creative team to develop branding materials, social media creatives, packaging, event collaterals, and digital assets for MiCasa Hostels, Minakshi Restaurants & Cafés, and other group ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating visual content for digital platforms (social media posts, reels covers, website banners, emailers).
  • Support in designing marketing collaterals such as brochures, posters, standees, menus, event backdrops, and presentations.
  • Work with brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all visual assets.
  • Edit and retouch images for online and offline use.
  • Collaborate with the senior designer, marketing, and operations team to bring design briefs to life.
  • Explore and suggest fresh ideas, styles, and design trends that connect with Gen-Z and millennial audiences.
  • Prepare artwork files for printing and digital publishing.
  • Learn and adapt to feedback from seniors to improve creative quality.

Qualifications / Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects/Premiere Pro) or similar design tools.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Figma, or CorelDRAW is an added advantage.
  • Strong sense of color, typography, and layout.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing & motion graphics preferred (not mandatory).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • A portfolio of academic projects, internships, or freelance work (even if small).
