The Loom is looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering and analytics —

someone who can both build the plumbing (data pipelines, integrations, automation) and analyse

the output (dashboards, reports, insights). You'll ensure that data flows seamlessly from multiple

sources into usable, reliable, and insightful formats that empower our marketing, operations, and

leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering

  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to bring data from Magento, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, CRM,

logistics partners, and finance systems into a central warehouse.

  • Design and optimize data models and schemas for scalable reporting.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, and accuracy across all sources.

  • Automate recurring reporting processes and business dashboards.

Data Analytics

  • Develop and manage dashboards in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).

  • Track and analyse key metrics: sales, conversion, repeat rate, CAC, LTV, inventory, margins.

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions (e.g., category performance, pricing

impact, campaign ROI).

  • Collaborate with Business, Marketing, and Product teams to translate needs into data solutions.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.

  • 4-6 years' experience in data engineering / data analytics, ideally in e-commerce or consumer

businesses.

  • Strong SQL skills; experience with Python or R a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Talend) and cloud warehouses (BigQuery,

Snowflake, Redshift).

  • Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Google Data Studio).

  • Familiarity with APIs & integrations (Magento, GA4, Facebook Ads, etc.).

  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
